⚡KLEOS IS 100% FUNDED!!!!⚡ WOW! Funding in the first week of the campaign is an amazing achievement. Thanks and congrats to everyone in this community.
I really need to give a heartfelt 'thank you' to each and every one of you. As a first time designer, this means the world to me - that each of you has offered your support, become a part of the community, and shown so much passion for this game I spent 3 years creating. Without your early support, shares, comments, and passion for the project, this would not have happened. Thank you for being a part of the journey, and now let’s make the game even better over the course of the campaign! Here is a picture of me holding the final Kleos game box, alongside the original Kleos game board prototype, which was created 2 or 3 years ago. As you can see, Kleos has come a long way!
⚡Also...CONGRATULATIONS!! Since we funded ahead of the weekend goal, 2 additional custom dice and the Antiope epic hero card will be added to each copy of Kleos.⚡
Next...what everyone has been waiting for!!! Let’s talk about stretch goals! Here is the first, which will unlock when we cross that $20,000 mark. It will be a community selected add on!
You can vote for your choice through the link HERE by 11:59pm EST Monday evening! The community has already suggested some great options - Additional sets of Kleos dice, custom monster meeples, or others. Which will be your choice?!
Assuming we reach the goal soon, I hope to add it to the campaign by the end of the week at the earliest. Otherwise it will be added as soon as we cross that $20,000 mark!
This is the first, but there will be more stretch goals as the campaign progresses! Also, what do you hope to see in the stretch goals?! Be sure to comment!
We have all had so much fun with the achievements. It has been a blast watching everyone push for the next unlock...so...let’s make it a little more interesting, shall we? To celebrate crossing that 90% mark....⚡ LET'S HAVE A SCAVENGER HUNT! ⚡ Live now through the Azure Horizon Games page! The prize is very cool - it will be a clear, specially dyed, giant size versions (2x normal size) of a Kleos champion miniature (Theseus, Atalanta, or Heracles, your choice)! Check it out HERE!
A big thank you to Firescale Studio for the idea, for creating these great sculpts, and for all the passion for this project! One note, we are working with the manufacturer to make corrections to Atalanta in particular. We expect to remove the bow string and possibly thicken the arrow a bit. Will keep you updated. A big thank you to Martine and KOA for the feedback!
We still have until 11:59pm tomorrow night to reach that funding goal and add 2 additional dice and the Antiope epic hero card to each copy of Kleos! Also, Antiope's full color art came in. Isn’t she awesome? I'll be posting her full card in the Facebook group tomorrow. Please share the project, comment, and help unlock achievements to keep that momentum going!
A solo playthrough will be posted early this coming week, and by popular demand, we will all be working together to create a community solo scenario! I expect to start on Wednesday. : )
Two last reminders, one lucky week 1 backer will be receiving a full set of painted miniatures by our friends at Miniatures Mutated! Lastly, an achievement update is pinned to the top of the FB group and I’ll be posting bi-weekly updates here. So close to unlocking that pdf art & mythology book for all backers! Incredible Start! Extended Funding Promotion & Contests!

Hey everyone, We are on a great path at nearly 90% funded with 230 backers! I may have been a bit overzealous hoping to fund in 72 hours, but we are certainly on track to reach our goal this weekend. Also, 4 achievements are now unlocked! More on that below.
I’ve had so many amazing interactions with backers. Your support and activity in our community is making this entire process so much fun! ⚡ As a thank you, I’m going to extend the funding promotion through Sunday night! Kudos to Matt Stone for winning yesterday’s flash contest, which was an online scavenger hunt to find Antiope’s stats! I don’t have a picture of the prize quite yet, but it will be a giant size version (2x the size) of one of the Kleos miniatures! Want one for yourself? The plan is to have a couple of opportunities for early backers to win. These giant size figures will be exclusive to backers during the first week of the campaign! Stay tuned for another flash contest to be announced here and in the Kleos Facebook Group tomorrow ~11am.
On that note, here is another awesome contest! Miniatures Mutated, who did amazing work painting an early set of Kleos miniature prototypes, have backed the campaign and offered a promotion for all early backers! One lucky backer before 11:59pm EST Sunday night will win a full set of prototype miniatures painted by Miniatures Mutated! This is a huge thank you to each and every one of you early backers who have made this possible. Here is a picture of their work with the prior set!
For anyone who wants to see the gameplay, we will be live streaming a TTS game tonight at 8pm EST through the Azure Horizon Games FB Page. Check it out! Lastly, I am planning to run a TTS game for new players to learn on Sunday, and Patrick in our Facebook Group has offered to help people learn anytime out of his passion for the project (Thanks Patrick!).
Once we fund, there are a lot of great things in store! I want to make these last 20 days of the campaign as much fun as possible, including fun contests and community created content. Let’s get there this week and get to the real fun next week. : ) Please share and help spread the word!

SO CLOSE NOW! Nearly 80% funded at the start of day 3! This is a huge accomplishment, thank you all for making this possible. Now...let’s cross that finish line today!
If we can fund in the first 3 days, the project will have much more traction moving forward. So, let’s make this fun!!

Here is a sneak peak at the sketch art for ANTIOPE! If we fund by 10am EST 7/24, Antiope will bring her sword and shield to each and every copy of Kleos! Some background, Antiope was a leader among the Amazons who eventually married Theseus and fought against her own people when they stormed Athens. Doesn’t she look awesome?!
I am so honored to say that we have over 1,000 people following this project on Kickstarter (not including backers)! Wow! Thank you all for taking the time to check out Kleos. Also, I can’t believe that 10/15 of the new Divine Offering pledge tier spaces were filled within just a couple of hours last night. WE’RE GETTING THERE! 65% funded and not even half-way through day 2, and we just hit 200 backers!! Thank you Ejected Planet for being #200! We have the best community and thank you so much to all the newcomers that have joined this adventure.
So, BIG NEWS! I could not believe that all 4 of the $250 Olympian Offering pledge spots sold out in less than 2 minutes at launch. Wow!!! Many backers reached out to me upset that they missed the opportunity to be immortalized in Kleos by its amazing illustrator, Enggar Adirasa.
⚡ So….should we add another pledge tier? LET’S MAKE IT HAPPEN! ⚡
Tonight ~8pm, I’ll be adding 15 slots ($250 each) that will allow backers to be featured on an alternate art version of an existing card in Kleos. These will serve as promos not only for yourself, but for every 1st edition print run copy of Kleos! That’s right - for every single individual and retail backer - but only for the first edition printing! This is a 'thank you' to everyone who helps make Kleos possible. Want your cat to be the Nemean Lion, sure! Want to be featured as Heracles, done! Now is your chance!
Also! This is my first campaign and I was a bit overzealous with the achievements. You have all done so much to make Kleos a reality, let's fix that! As a show of thanks, here is an updated Achievement image! It is already live on the campaign page as well. The first one just unlocked, 200 backers, well done!!!
